Scott Malawski, Vice President of WIMAPS will give a brief history about the cheesehead chapter.
Robin & Joan Rolfs, will then reminisce with a home recording of the Bessie & Floyd Seiter singing "Where Can I Meet You Tonight" from the 1990 Phonovention. They will also play cylinders made on MAPS 20th anniversary Phonovention in 1996 and Wisconsin MAPS celebration of Edison's birthday on Feb. 11, 2007.They had the pleasure to co-author a book with Bessie and Floyd Seiter on "Phonograph Dolls that Talk and Sing." Robin & Joan also authored the books on "Phonograph Dolls and Toys" and "Nipper Collectibles."
Paul Ladd presents “The History of HAPS and the evolution of our hobby”
Paul was instrumental in establishing the Indiana Chapter of MAPS. He accepted our charter at the Christmas 1993 MAPS Meeting, and is the President of the Hoosier Antique Phonograph Society. Paul has repaired and restored more phonographs than he cares to admit, and is a inspiration to everyone in our hobby.
